From K.E.M.A.S. Iou and the island’s first football generations to today’s AS Iou Athletic Club and its modern Academy, discover the people, teams and moments that shaped football on Ios.
The Board of Directors of AS Iou works with consistency, responsibility and team spirit to develop the club. Our aim is to provide the children and athletes of Ios with an organised, safe and inspiring sporting environment.

Vangelis Spanos at our academy
Our first meeting on the pitch with the Technical Director of the Panionios Football Schools Network, with our children and their development at the heart of the partnership.
At the AS Iou Academy, training is adapted to each child's age and needs. We develop technique, teamwork, confidence and respect in a safe environment where progress is part of the joy of the game.

AS Iou – Panionios: An important beginning for our children and the future of our academy
Vangelis Spanos, Technical Director of the Panionios Football Schools Network, visited Ios for a first meeting with our young athletes and academy coaches, as part of the partnership between the two clubs.

ANNUAL EVENT · EVERY AUGUST
Basketball Camp on Ios.
Every year, AS Iou organises the island's Basketball Camp, giving children the opportunity to learn from professional coaches, improve and enjoy the game.
From 18 to 21 June 2026, Ios stood at the centre of international beach volleyball. A total of 53 men's and women's teams, representing 18 federations, competed in a high-level international event.
